Collection: INTERIOR JEWELLERY
The Marabou collection is a series of six unique lighting sculptures, each inspired by the elegance of the African Marabou stork and deeply rooted in African heritage.
These pieces were hand-sculpted by Marie-Paule Tano during the first artistic residency at Maison N'zima, by Jean-Servais Somian, in early 2024. They were brought to life through a collaboration with local artisans using the traditional lost-wax casting technique and local materials, fulfilling hers and the residency’s goal to create fine interior pieces as an extension of her jewellery and 100% made in Grand Bassam, Côte d’Ivoire. Each sculpture in the collection features a distinctive raw filigree texture reminiscent of Akan jewellery.
